Don\u2019t believe me? If you want to save it to your Google Drive, just go to <strong>File<\/strong> and then <strong>Make A Copy<\/strong>&#8230;)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>By saving small BUT consistently, you can save a substantial amount.<\/p>\n<p>The 52 week challenge is perfect if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>you are building an emergency fund<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>saving for travel and\/or vacation<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>building up capital to put up in a business<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>you are lumping a huge about to pay off debt<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>saving for wedding expense<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>and so much more\u2026<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It so easy and so much fun BUT the most important thing is that you will develop the habit of saving money!<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Rules for the 52 week money challenge:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Here are some frequently asked questions about this challenge:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. What if I missed a week, can I just make it up the week after?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Of course, you can.<\/p>\n<p><em>Example: What if you miss saving 1,250 on week 25. Then on week 26, you need to save 1,250 + 1,300.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. As an employee, I am only paid twice a month. Can I save only twice a month also?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Definitely.<\/p>\n<p><em>Example: For the month of January: Instead of saving weekly, you save every 15th and 30th of the month. So for 15th that\u2019s 50 + 100 and for the 30th that\u2019s 150 + 200.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. 50 pesos is too much for me. Can I just save increments of 20 pesos?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes you can. The important thing is you are saving money. You can even save increments of 5 or 10 pesos.<\/p>\n<p>If you can save more, then you can do the 52 week money challenge with increments of 100.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Below are the end results <\/strong><em>(week 52)<\/em><strong> if you save in increments of:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>1 peso \u2013 1,378<br \/>\n5 pesos \u2013 6,890<br \/>\n10 pesos \u2013 13,780<br \/>\n20 pesos \u2013 27, 560<br \/>\n100 pesos \u2013 137,800<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Can I have it done in reverse? Instead starting at 50, I want to start at 2600 and decreasing by 50 every week?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Absolutely!<\/p>\n<p>However, for me, there are no strict rules in implementing this challenge. The important part is that you will have fun doing it at the same time hit your target savings goal!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Remember: the habit is more important than the amount.
